FEATURES |
- Movable and Fixed Jaws may be separated
by any distance allowing clamping of large workpieces.
- Pull-down
feature of Movable Jaw prevents the workpiece from rising when it
is clamped.
- Compact
design facilitates use where space is limited; vise uses short
stroke lead screw and guide bars to achieve compactness.
- Movable
Jaw does not rely on friction to prevent back-off; thrust is taken
by two pull dowels and four cap screws.
- Acme screw is completely enclosed to
avoid chip and coolant contamination.

DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS OVER PREVIOUS
MODELS
- Movable Jaw dowels directly to subplate
(serrated index plate and anchor post has been eliminated), reducing
setup time.
- Movable Jaw travel has been increased to
1 1/2", overlapping dowel increments.
- Jaw Plate uses quick change retainers.
